Just because she’s married to Bill…

I am sure most of you have heard by now that Senator Hillary Clinton is saying that she is the candidate that has the best chance to win the White House because of her support by hard working, white Americans. I was just absolutely shocked to hear her say this.
However, we often think just because Bill Clinton grew up in a multicultural environment doesn’t mean Hilllary did as well. Hillary actually grew up in Republican household who was a College Republican. Warning: Do not be surprised anything Hillary Clinton tries from her.
She is desperate to get the nomination. If the superdelegates, and specifically party elders don’t shut this thing done now, she will definitely feel the wrath of Obama supporters all over the country.

Obama is completely failing to win support with bitter, I mean, lower class white Democrats. How is he supposed to win without this constituency?
I know that you guys are big on Hope but Hope doesn’t win elections. Votes do. You guys understand that running in the general election involves and entirely different voter base than a Democrat primary, right?

Democrats haven’t won the majority of the white vote in a general election in quite some time now. That won’t change even if Hillary is the nominee.
Phelps you say that Obama can’t win the white lower class vote. Well Hillary can’t win the black vote.
So now what?

Phelps,
Do you know what Barack Obama’s strategy is for the general election? Well, I do. He is re-writing the playbook for the general election. Just be patient and watch how he “expands the base” in such a way that certain base voters will only enhance his candidacy.

Phelps,
If you don’t mind me asking, are you a conservative Democrat or conservative Republican?

Neither. I am a libertarian Republican. I was an LP member until after the liberation of Iraq. (And FWIW, McCain’s fascist tendencies are strong enough that I am ranking this election Clinton > McCain > Obama.)
I’m assuming that Obama’s plan for the general election is to get more electoral votes. Since I don’t believe that he has any sort of electoral shenanigans or a military coup planned, that’s pretty much the only option.
Any plan from any party that relies on “expanding the base” is made of fail. Same goes for any plan that relies on the internet or the youth vote.

I sincerely hope that it is true that Hillary can’t win the black vote. This would show both parties that black America thinks for itself and isn’t a gimmie vote for Democrats, and would be tremendously good for both black Americans and America. Politicians on both sides would have to start listening to the last 12% of the population.
History, on the other hand, doesn’t support this assertion. Black Americans will vote for whoever ends up on the Democrat ticket.
