The theme for old school Friday is Remakes. I thought I would share Chaka Khan's treatment of a Prince single I Feel For You. I wanted to share TLC’s remake of If I Was Your Girlfriend which really highlights the genius of Mr. Nelson, but I don’t think they made a video.

I’ve always loved Chaka & when she mixed it up with a Prince remake I wasn’t surprised that it was different from what I’d previously heard from her, but it was still a hit. Good choice.
