Here’s an interview I conducted with Aaron Paz of El Paso about a petition he’s circulating to get Hillary Clinton on the Obama ticket as V.P.

Even if Hillary actually is behind party unity, that petition is going to put her in a tight spot, especially if they go well over the 300 minimum (and up into, say, 500.)

Good interview. I was at the Texas caucus in my area and I saw just as many Obama supporters as Clinton supporters. The process needs some work, but it worked as it was created to do. There’s no way Hillary’s supporters are going to be convinced that this is something she wants to do, so Obama is going to have to be the one to show them he’s qualified for the position.
She won’t be left out in the cold. Obama will give her a high up position, but what’s done is done. I hope people can get over this and move on. The McCain campaign is smarting in pushing him as a one term president. He’s the underdog, so all he has to do is say what people want to hear. Obama needs to start talking some specifics on what he plans to do as president.

As a Democrat I do not for the life of me understand why Obama would not pick Hillary for VP.
She received 18 million votes…..Biden received 9000? DUH
This was a dumb choice on Obamas part and is going to make it harder to get him elected.
Obamas stuborness and ego is going to be his demise if he doesn’t change soon.
A Obama/Clinton ticket would have energized this party like we have never seen before.
