Who is Joe the Plumber?

I kind of left the Joe the Plumber news alone today, but I thought the comment by Brown Sugar was interesting and I checked it out at Crooks and Liars. Here’s what they had to say.
I guess it’s no wonder John McCain was so happy to use “Joe the Plumber” as a debate prop last night — he’s a partisan Republican who also happens to be a member of McCain’s old friends, the Keating family.
From Martin Eisenstadt:
Turns out that Joe Wurzelbacher from the Toledo event is a close relative of Robert Wurzelbacher of Milford, Ohio. Who’s Robert Wurzelbacher? Only Charles Keating’s son-in-law and the former senior vice president of American Continental, the parent company of the infamous Lincoln Savings and Loan. The now retired elder Wurzelbacher is also a major contributor to Republican causes giving well over $10,000 in the last few years.
Say it ain’t so Joe!

The smear job on this guy who’s only crime was to ask Obama a question is despicable.

I noticed that Martin Eisenstadt, the blogger/pundit/war profiteer, is in the news again as the McCain insider who broke the story connecting “Joe the plumber” to Charles Keating. I recently shot an unauthorized mini documentary on Martin Eisenstadt called “The Last Republican” that I am showing as a webseries on my youtube channel, “youkaysam”. http://www.youtube.com/user/youkaysam
At times charming and knowledgeable, Martin is, in fact, a dangerous McCain surrogate who hides behind layers and half truths that I like to believe I succeeded in identifying and exposing.

Phelps,
I must admit, you are loyal. This “Joe” has been exposed for not being a licensed plumber, not being in the financial position to buy any business, less known the one he works for, but the Republicans are using his as a poster boy for middle America. And you refuse to call them for it, but you are quick to call out the Democrats. What is up with that?

Oh Earnest I can answer that one. You see when black folks stick together it is because we are only looking at a person’s skin color. However when white folks do it, it is because the guy is getting run over, short end of the stick. It has absolutely nothing to do with skin color, is only a factor to us Black folks that are unable to distinguish a difference. We are all stupid and inept in being able to see subtle nuances this is something strictly reserved for the good white folks.
P.S. Shawn I would like this published!!@!!!!!!!!

Obama knocked on Joe’s door! Acting as if it was somehow a Carl Rove trick is hilarious, but far fetched. It is amazing how libs will try and turn a statement by Obama regarding his planned re-distribution of wealth scheme into some looney tunes drama. Even going so far as to try and drag the non-story that is any Keating/McCain connection.

How does anything about the guy asking the question matter to how Obama answered it?

Phelps,
You never cease to amaze me! And RHW, if look at the YouTube video, Obama was out talking to citizens, he did not knock at “Joe’s” door. Why not admit that they man was lying? The tax code needs to be reformed and that is what he was refering to.

Okay, he was lying! You got him! Good job!
Now, what about Obama’s answer?
