Williams’ welcome new member to Dallas South Family

My wife and I are the proud parents of a healthy baby girl: Maliyah Faith Williams. Maliyah was born at 5:13 p.m. and weighed 7 lbs and 8 oz. She and mother are both doing well. Big brother Isaiah has been smiling for almost 24 straight hours.

Thanks so much to everyone for all of the prayers that were offered to Tamela during her 7 weeks in the hospital and 7 weeks at home on bed rest. She sacrificed so much to bring this little baby in the world. Words cannot express my love nor gratitude.

Thanks to the Dallas South family who has given me plenty of latitude and support through this rough time. I’ve tried my best -through the help of the crew- to keep the site on track. I think we accomplished that and then some.
Again, thanks to the fam and God Bless.
Shawn

Shawn,
Congratulations to you, Tamela and Isaiah! Truly a wonderful and blessed event for all of you. As the father of all girls, let me tell you what I tell all fathers who are bringing young ladies into the world: you’ve had the last good night’s sleep for the rest of your life!! But enjoy it, its a great ride! I’ll keep the family in my prayers…

Congratulations! Especially since GOD knows this has been an ordeal pregnancy for your Tamela. So shower her with anything she’ll ever want or need. Like you getting up at night while she sleeps? It’s a blessing, but tell you boy sisters can be bossier than the preacher’s secretary. But are are a brother’s most powerful weapon when life’s a fight.
Cheers!

Yo bro, congrats! Maliyah is beautiful. Tell Tamela she did a great job. And little Isiah keep on smiling - Auntie is so proud of you. God is good. I can’t believe how much she weighs!!!

Read your e-mail and you will know that I didn’t know about the 7 weeks in the hospital when I asked you to be on my panel “if you were interested in health care reform issues.” Ha! I’ll bet! Just glad to hear the wonderful outcome.
