The Marvalus One has thrown out a doozie this week. The only direction: I had a crush on. There are a lot of candidates: Tracy Spenser, Shanice, Salt & Pepa, Dawn from EnVogue. But I had to go with the following:

Who didn’t love Vanessa Williams? She was probably my second celebrity crush after Vanity.
The Jets - I’ve Got A Crush on You
12/13 year old Shawn had a crush on both of the fronts to this cheezy crew. Not a bad little jam though, I’ve played it a couple of times this morning.

The weird thing is…I was totally ga-ga over the red-haired sibling in The Jets…
Why the red-haired one (I think his name is Eugene), I have absolutely no idea!

I use to love the Jets, I would play You Got It All on repeat. That was the jam. I wonder what they are doing now.
Vanessa Williams is the first women to become famous from “photos”… Her was intentional, now we have a generation of girls that thinks it’s the route to fame.
I love Vanessa for keeping it moving, and keeping it classy.

Yeah the Jets were my group back in the day too. And if anybody came out a scandal smelling like a rose it’s Miss America ‘84. Been doing top notch work ever since.
