I've been an Obama Suporter since day 1...but I guarantee you that if she was the nominee...We'd be deep in teh gutte right now. lI could tell you if McDumb wore boxer or briefs. lol J/K

When is Freddoso's new book on The Case Against John McCain to be released? or does he just write this trash on democratic leaders? Did he have one ready to be released for Hillary, if she had been the nominate? God, this is so transparent and just reading the highlights is enough for me to hit the streets harder and to give more for the Obama Campaign. Not this time, Dog.

You have your opinion and I have mine, so I won't bother to rebut any of it...except one.

Senator Obama has stated that he has tried drugs in the past on more than on occassion. If Cindy McCain had just admited to trying drugs in the past...that would not have made her a "crack-head". What made her a crack-head was her "addiction" to the point of stealing the drugs from a NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION and FORGING PRESCRIPTIONS. That's crackhead behavior if I've ever seen it.

How many African Americans or young people do you think are being polled? That is Barack’s base. Let’s chill out on the polls. They wont determine turnout.

Blacks at at most 12% of the vote, and they have consistently voted overwhelmingly Democrat. That isn't a winning strategy. And any plan based on turnout is made of fail. Ask Gore and Kerry.

McCain is grasping at straws hence the reference to Obama as Paris or Brittney is a distraction and it is exactly the type of low down dirty politricks with no substance that Independents are looking at.

Agreed. My disagreement is that crying about how low-down it is or isn't is an ineffective way to combat it. When your opponent claims that you are immature, whining about him picking on you isn't the way to nullify that claim.

The distractions are the proposals for gas tax holidays and off-shore drilling that economist believe will add up to about 10 cents in the average voters pocket.

As opposed to Obama's "check your tire pressure and save 8 cents a gallon instead, and, oh, BTW, I'm gonna give you $1000 now that will cost you even more in the long run when the oil companies charge that expense back to you later" plan?

The distractions are consistently negative verbal assaults that were supposedly above him 2 months ago.

Yes, they make a hilarious counterpoint to Obama's attack ads that he pledged not to run six months ago.

The distractions are when your formerly drug addicted wife (in the hood we call that a crack-head) makes a point on more than one occassion to disrespect the wife of another candidate.

When that wife of a cokehead (are we done with the drug slurs now?) has injected herself into the campaign, she's fair game (as is Cindy McCain.) Running for President is Serious Business. Suck it up or buy a helmet.

The distractions is when you label someone as a ‘flip flopper” when you have changed your opinion on just about everything you supposedly stood for before you won the nomination.

That's why Obama has risen above pointing out when McCain changed his opinion, right? Oh, wait...

The way he’s going, it won’t take long for him to bleed.

Uh... if you hadn't noticed, Obama has been getting all the positive press, and he's still only in a dead-heat with McCain when McCain is saddled with an unpopular incumbent. That is bad news for Obama.

If Barack wasn’t trying to take the high road, he could win the election on the senile issue alone.

No, he couldn't. More old people vote than young people. It would cost him more than it would help him.

McDumb has made so many errors, it really appears he can not last long.

Compared to the 57 State Gaffe Machine?

Also @Phelps, surely you jest with the hubris comment. McDumb is so arrogant. I don’t see how the reporters even interview him. He doesn’t answer any questions…as if they have no right to question his majesty. I’m really hoping they will get tougher on him when the election is closer.

You want to know what I am talking about? At least McCain has the decency to dance around the question. Obama has gone out of his way to ridicule reporters for having the audacity to ask him tough questions.

http://hotair.com/archives/2008/08/06/obama-really-doesnt-like-a-debate/?print=1

Republicans have always known that McCain is a politician. That's the reason that he is so unpopular with the far right. The difference is that no one on Obama's side was willing to face the fact that at the end of the day he isn't some sort of higher being -- he's just another politician.

@Phelps, the distractions are the senile rants about the celebrity of one candidate...almost as if he was jealous of his popularity. The distractions are the proposals for gas tax holidays and off-shore drilling that economist believe will add up to about 10 cents in the average voters pocket. The distractions are consistently negative verbal assaults that were supposedly above him 2 months ago. The distractions are when your formerly drug addicted wife (in the hood we call that a crack-head) makes a point on more than one occassion to disrespect the wife of another candidate. The distractions is when you label someone as a 'flip flopper" when you have changed your opinion on just about everything you supposedly stood for before you won the nomination. Senator McDumb ran high on the "maverick" label, until he ran for office this time around. He now calls himself a "conservative". I'm so tired of crap. I just hope Barack doesn't continue to allow himself to be on the offensive. You don't have to play dirty to hit McDumb where it hurts. The way he's going, it won't take long for him to bleed. If Barack wasn't trying to take the high road, he could win the election on the senile issue alone. McDumb has made so many errors, it really appears he can not last long. And how can you not campaign on weekends? Will he not be able to be president on weekends? It's not a Monday-Friday 9-5 job. If you can't handle it, you shouldn't have ran.

Nicely said. But, you lost some credibility when you didnt know how the White Sox game ended. Jermaine Dye hit a 2 run single to make it 12-11 then Wilson struck out Thome and Konerko to end the game prompting his celebration.

Phelps,
How many African Americans or young people do you think are being polled? That is Barack's base. Let's chill out on the polls. They wont determine turnout.
