Shawn P. Williams
Shawn Williams is the publisher of Dallas South, a blog that he started in June of 2006. The goal of Dallas South is to promote positive images of African-Americans in the media in an effort to combat negative images that are often portrayed.
Besides his work at Dallas South, Shawn is a frequent contributor to Pegasus News and is a member of the AfroSpear and Texas Progressive Alliance. He has written guest editorials in the Dallas Morning News and other Texas newspapers and is available for freelance writing opportunities. Shawn can also be booked for speaking engagements as well.

Shawn earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX where he was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. He and his family attend Friendship-West Baptist Church in Dallas. He is a native of Paris, Texas.
